Red deer roar finished.
back out after a Coivd stop to try and film some of the roar close up. unfortunately the red deer stags are all quite and the ones o saw where just walking around and not roaring. I was also trying to find some Fallow deer but they had also disappeared., Up agin at Stronvar station and big thanks to dave at Stronvar hunting for letting head up and film some deer. they have lots of game from Goats, quail, deer and pigs.
Most of the nz hunting deer I been hunting with the lens are red deer with some young fallow deer popping up and some of the locations.
the footage was filmed with sony fx6 with a old sigma 75-300 lens.
all the filming of the deer was done at Stronvar Station in Marlborough new Zealand . very luck to get to such a great location to do some hunting with the lens and getting some great footage of kiwi red stags

Red stags are not native but where brought from red stag stock from Europe.
european red stag can now be hunted over most of New Zealand and know just call red deer and some great hunting nz 2022 of red deer
